Oprah did it, why can't Dave?
A call everyone should have to deal with, jury duty. It is done by everyone to eventually get called to serve and then go through screening to see if they qualify. Why are people being over looked to serve? Is it that they know people in higher places to get them off the hook? This should not matter, we all get called. Having a funny monologue should not dismiss you.

I had to serve jury duty this year. It was an interesting experience because all I did was cut out recipes from old magazines.I spent five hours there and got paid $70. I completed my civic duty for two years. How about that?
If only we all could have a talk-show forum to get out of jury duty. Also, we could use it to get preferential treatmant in a variety of ways. We could get in for free dinners and so many more perks. Note to self: GET TALK-SHOW!
